Happy Valentine’s Day guys and gals! Let you’re loved ones know how much they mean to you and be nice to strangers. Lord knows we all need more love… let that steep. XOXO
My dogs are my real life inspirations for this Valentine’s card. They say they love me A LOT.
I really like the way a bunch of eyes look… no pun intended. In design school we had to come up with a movie festival poster and I had the idea of a bunch of eyes. So I cut 100+ eyes out of magazines and collaged them together. I thought it looked awesome. My professor did not. But it’s an image/concept I always come back to. Remember this post?
I treat my nail polish as an accessory. I just don’t look right without painted nails.
An optional caption for this one was “don’t be a prick” but I didn’t think my grandmother would like that one very much. She’s old school like that.
I don’t know why but I had that Madonna song stuck in my head the other day so I decided to make it into a Valentine’s card. Now I really want some heart socks.
I’m a big fan of Valentine’s Day. Yes, I’m aware that it’s a “made-up holiday” but I don’t really care. Let’s celebrate all kinds of love you guys!
For the next seven days I’m going to post a hand drawn illustration for you to print, email, or text to your friend, parent, dog, and significant other.
Spread the love.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed, disheartened, stressed, challenged, disappointed, restless, anxious, sad, overworked, under appreciated, tired, tried, beat up, and down right depressed… remember that you can do hard things. YOU GOT THIS.
(I should know… I teach middle schoolers all day!)
To remind you, I made an iPhone wallpaper >>> You Got This Wallpaper <<< just give it a click
